We’re a small family-run team united by a genuine love for embroidery and slow, creative hobbies. Many of us grew up watching our mothers and grandmothers stitch at the kitchen table, and what began as a nostalgic craft quickly became something much more meaningful in our lives.

CraftHoop originally started as a small offline shop serving local customers in Brooklyn, New York. During the COVID-19 pandemic, like many small businesses, we moved fully online so we could continue sharing embroidery with a wider community. Since then, we’ve been proud to help thousands of customers discover (or rediscover) the joy of stitching.

As we connected with beginners, we noticed the same challenge again and again: many people wanted to try embroidery but didn’t know where to start. That’s why we created CraftHoop — to offer beginner-friendly embroidery kits, clear instructions, and thoughtfully selected supplies that make getting started feel easy and enjoyable.
